Pastor Osmond was our host as usual and we had a terrific time. A team of 10 of us visited churches, Bible Colleges, Benkum High School and preached in the open air.
The Crusades went really well. We had brought a video projector and a DVD player plus the film, ‘The Passion of the Christ’. We showed it over 2 evenings in three locations.
Our plan was to establish a new congregation and plant a church in each of the districts. (as happened with Pastor Samuel’s congregation from last year). This involved setting up in the middle of each community as opposed to hiring a football field as we used to. The film was amazing and the response brilliant. We saw a lot of people respond to the Gospel. Especially on then last night after Andy preached almost the entire crowd came to the front to find Jesus. What a privilege to be a part of such an event!
We left the equipment & film with them so that they can do this sort of thing regularly.
The Ordination Service on the first Sunday was a real blessing. We prayed with folk who were either affiliating with IGO, being ordained or recognised as Christian Workers within the Fellowship. There was a real sense of God’s Presence and blessing on the occasion.
